I was working on an essay about the GROW/L method, the framework at the center of Returning Home to Our Bodies. It stands for Ground, Relate, Observe, Widen (which spells GROW) and then Love.
Writing in a Mercury retrograde is never my favorite, so I was struggling to find the thread to make this essay interesting and engaging. And then my dear friend Kristen Timchak sent me an email that the podcast interview I had done with her about that very framework was now live.
It’s a lovely conversation. Kristen and I are old friends, and for one glorious year got to live together, and the love and ease I feel whenever we speak shines through the conversation. So rather than give us yet another pile or words that we may or may not read, if you are curious about this framework, or about what it might offer your relationship with your own body, with the natural world, and with the ones you love, I encourage you to listen.

If you want to go deeper, please join me for a guided journey through the GROW/L framework in a six-week course presented by Advaya. I’ll offer practices to help you Ground into your body, Relate with yourself and others from an embodied space, Observe yourself and others with more clarity and compassion, and Widen your ability to understand how all of the challenges we currently face interact, and importantly, how our joy is also woven into the current moment. All of this is a praxis in a Love that liberates. And this is GROW/L
You can find more information about the course here
And on Wednesday August 21st I’ll be offering a free webinar presented by Advaya, titled How to Thrive in Times of Change: Embodying the Ecotone. It is free, and the recording will be shared with everyone who registers Registering for the webinar will also enter you into a giveaway for a copy of Returning Home to Our Bodies
